Faguo Le Guishu Semi Sweet Demi Doux
FEEMANTED RICE
The producer claimed that Chinese had been drinking rice wines for the past 9000 years, so a Bordelaise became creative and used fermented rice to create this wine. Not a bad result.
Nose was extreme end of vanilla and ripe & cooked pineapples. Although the label was claiming semi sweet, quite the contrary, the palate wasn’t telling the same story as the nose and the label. It was just about right for the sweetness, drinking it pleasantly without worrying about surged sugar and diabetes.
