HUNKY AND STONY STYLE
Drinking this Isojiman next to Dassai 23, this one was obviously losing on the elegance and finesse. Despite it’s award winning status (and that’s why it became popular), it wasn’t good enough in my opinion.
Very big and focused sake, it had a character of a bit stony and hunky style. Not quite my style to go with fatty tunas like Otoro though. Went well with truffle infused sea bream though.
