This is not a daily drinking sake, and prices have been going obscene as the production cannot catch up with demand. It was aged for 3 years, with SMV +5 (moderately dry).
It was exceptional quality, the nose was very fragrant and floral. The body smoothness was exceptional, almost drank like steam rice blended with the exorbitantly priced Japanese melon (those $200 per ball sweet melon). My pleasure to drink this 1.8L format from a good and generous friend.
