NV Canard Duchene Brut Rose
PROMEGRANATE
I'm pretty surprised by this grower champagne, cheap and good.
Salmon pink color to start off with. I paired it with Indian style Curry Fish Head, matched perfectly well. Certainly fruity on the nose, fresh rose petal, strawberries and cherries. A sip and I found that it's primarily promegranate juice, coupled with slight cherry taste. Not often I came across a champagne that's so promegranate driven. Cheers!

Pale salmon colored, beautiful pearly bubbles, fine mousse. Nose: Intense fresh fruit aromas especially of cherry, with mineral and toasted characteristics. Palate: A powerful, full bodied wine with silky flavors reminiscent of crystallized fruit.
Grower champagne. Drink & forgotten.
