GROWER CHAMPAGNE 5 Normally the producer of a grower champagne also owns the land where the champagne is produced, thus the champagne is very terroir sensitive, as well as the vintage. Thus it's difficult to make a consistent year in, year out champagne. An extremely fruity nose, albeit too much gas. The palate had laser sharp precision, which was a big plus. Contrary to the nose, fruits were not prominent. However the bubbles were excessive, and dissipated very quickly upon entry.
