Normally the producer of a grower champagne also owns the land where the champagne is produced, thus the champagne is very terroir sensitive, as well as the vintage. Thus it's difficult to make a consistent year in, year out champagne.
Strong fruity nose. On one sip, I thought the fruits were dead, because the taste was really flat. However, the champagne precision was very decent and almost laser sharp, I still hold the opinion that too much gas was infused into the champagne.
