Normally the producer of a grower champagne also owns the land where the champagne is produced, thus the champagne is very terroir sensitive, as well as the vintage. Thus it's difficult to make a consistent year in, year out champagne.
It was the last few drops in the bottle when I get to taste this champagne, so my flash impression wasn't deep. Quite creamy like a lot of mousse upon entry, didn't stay long enough before the mousses quickly dissipated away. Hope to review it again.
