Normally the producer of a grower champagne also owns the land where the champagne is produced, thus the champagne is very terroir sensitive, as well as the vintage. Thus it's difficult to make a consistent year in, year out champagne.
Slightly aged and yeasty along with cream and mousse on the nose. Content was a light style, very light fruits, lacked flavor, and my opinion that it used too much gas in the champagne, probably trying to mask the weakness of the content.
