Normally the producer of a grower champagne also owns the land where the champagne is produced, thus the champagne is very terroir sensitive, as well as the vintage. Thus it's difficult to make a consistent year in, year out champagne.
Quite a muted nose, slightly yeasty and fruity. Content was bold, strong flavor and very fruity, however, such plus points vanished very quickly, simply dissipated on the back of the tongue in no time. Were it not for such weakness, it would be superb.
