NV Veuve Clicquot Brut Carte Jaune
AGED NV CHAMPAGNE
I bought this bottle back in 2008, thus despite being an NV champagne, it was aged for 7 8 years by myself. What was the result? Actually surprisingly good! Apart from the slightly aged and yeasty nose, palette was clean and creamy. Bubbles still extremely lively (I kept the champagne at 11 degrees centigrade), so was the acidity. Not bad for a DIY aging bottle.
