OLD FASHION HARD LIQUOR
This was sitting in my cellar perpetually, well, perhaps 15 years, so I had to open the bottle for some cooking, might as well have a sip and report!
I understand XO means extraordinary, and it had to age for a good six years before it was qualified as an XO, making it the best in the class of Cognac being produced. Judging it from the content, I think the smoothness was much appreciated, and it doesn't choke me like some rough whiskey. Hot and spicy, ok for bedtime drink :)
