Phraya Deep Matured Gold Rum
SUGARCANE....
This rum was produced entirely from a crop of sugarcane, but I was unable to detect any sugarcane taste in the rum! Quite interesting, the quality of this rum was better than those produced in the Caribbean Islands. I was told they won some awards for their production. Aged in Burbon oak for 7 12 years, certainly produced a unique nose of only malt, while the palate was very unique with toffee, coconut and vanilla. Totally exceptional for rum varietals.
