1866 PORT!
Speechless on this almost a Wine of the Year 2015 for me! (Arguably either the JL Chave 78 or Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion 47 was my WOTY). Tremendous fortified nose, molasses and almost Vega Sicilia like.
The intensity of the body broke all my past record scale, extremely concentrated, almost like chewing sugar cane which was soaked in molasses for a century! At 19% alcohol and 245g residual sugar, this was truly a bomb of the year! What an experience, the port really deserves special attention!
