Experience the Prestige of 1989 Bordeaux

TOP 5 REASONS WHY YOU MUST TASTE THEM
1) 1989 Wine Vintage - A Legendary Vintage in Bordeaux
An exceptional vintage with a harvest that broke all the yield records. Ripe wines, perfectly concentrated with mellow tannins, were the result of almost perfect weather conditions. Powerful and very age worthy.
2) 1989 Haut Brion - 100 Pointer
The most expensive Haut Brion due to the power that this wine is able to deliver. Almost every wine critic is giving this wine a 100 points with some linking it to the similarity of the 1959 vintage in its youth.
"Hallmarks of a modern-day legend"
100 points Robert Parker
"Brilliantly pure and bottomless bouquet"
100 points John Gilman
"Lasts for minutes on the palate"
100 points James Suckling
"What a gorgeous, seductive and beautiful wine"
100 points Wine Spectator
"1989 remains one of the outstanding achievements , and it consistently flirts with perfection"
100 points Neal Martin
3) 1989 Mouton Rothschild - First Growth
Very well defined, very “old school”. The palate is medium-bodied and very harmonious with grainy tannins. It continues the aromatic theme of cedar and tobacco, with a slightly leafy finish that demonstrates great persistency. It is very “classic” in style, restrained, elegant and bearing similarities to Lafite Rothschild!
Even Jancis Robinson agrees and rated this a high 19.5/20 points
4) 1989 Pichon Lalande - A Timeless Pauillac Masterpiece
The more powerful and flamboyant side of the 1989 comes through rather dramatically. Along with the magical 1982, this is
John Gilman
favorite vintage of Pichon-Lalande from what must be its most successful overall decade in its long and illustrious history. Wonderfully alive and delineated in every way
5) 1989 Chateau Lagrange - 3rd Growth But Aging Well
Recently we opened this wine and it immediately impressed with its steady and alluring bouquet, showcasing aromas of ripe blueberries, blackcurrants, and a touch of cigar. On the palate, it revealed a full-bodied character with a lively, chunky texture that kept evolving with every sip. After 2 hours of decanting, the wine blossomed beautifully, holding up strongly over the course of 4 hours—a true testament to its structure and longevity.
Would this wine taste just as good as the 1989 Pichon Lalande?
