NOT A DAILY WINE
Of course drinking a Calon Segur 61 is a luxury that doesn’t happen everyday. I have bought this case for more than a year already and this was only my first bottle. In a jungle of blind tasting bottles, this was the only two Bordeaux served. Many others opted for Spanish wines due to its aging capability. I guessed this as my wine, spot on. Nose of very tobacco leaves, congested tea leaves and smoky. Palette didn’t reflect the age of the bottle, fresh, young, rich and tight.
