This wine is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Franc, aged for 13–15 months in 50% new French oak. In the glass, the color shows light to medium garnet with subtle bricking at the rim. The nose, of medium intensity, reveals red fruits layered with hints of dark roast coffee. On the palate, it opens with mineral-driven red fruit supported by lively acidity, gradually deepening into darker, drier tones with firm fruit presence. A faint saline note adds intrigue, while riper black fruit acidity and spice emerge with maturity. The finish lingers with sweet spice, earth, and a wisp of wood smoke. With aeration, the wine gains savory depth, a touch more weight, and increasingly dry flavors. Structure remains firm, underscored by tannins edged with cinnamon spice.
