1998 Chateau Rouget - 750ml
Wine by Bok - 10/10 stars
After the awesome and seriously underrated 2005, I have zoomed in to Pomerol label. I don't understand why no wine critics paid any attention to this label, perhaps they're way too busy on all the big names and neglected this label. 1998 is a strong right bank vintage, and Rouget performed as expected. Strong refined oak nose. The body is rich and sumptuous, very fruity. Really worth the price! (01/2022)
