Sourced exclusively from the El Monte vineyard—situated at 430 metres above sea level—this wine is made from Tempranillo vines over 40 years old. Planted on clay-limestone soils rich in pebbles, these low-yielding vines (max. 4,000 kg/ha) contribute to the wine's depth and complexity.
What truly sets this Gran Reserva apart is its extended maceration period of up to 30 days and its remarkable aging process—matured in new American oak barrels for up to 40 months with racking every six months.
