2012 Bouchard Pere & Fils Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru - 750ml
Jasper Morris MW - 96 Points
A fine fresh energetic bouquet. There is a significant depth of fruit with lees contact, very backward, an extremely fine example. A very faint offering of banana but this is so backward. I would give this a further 5 to 15 years. (6/2022)
Allen Meadows - 94 Points
There is enough reduction present to knock down the expressiveness of what appears to be a very ripe nose of apple and floral aromas. The broad-shouldered flavors are impressively rich, full-bodied and well-detailed with a taut muscularity on the highly persistent and driving finish that is blessed with so much dry extract that is seems almost chewy. Despite the imposing size and weight of this classically styled effort the balance is impeccable and the length is genuinely stunning. (6/2014)
