Wine With Bok - 9.25/10 Stars
Being the new kid on the block, they started production in 2012, thus they’re not an established label from Pomerol. However, have an open mind, I can assure you the quality is pretty stunning coming from a great vintage. Composed of 49% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, the cabernet harshness is only detectable during the first pour and quickly submerged to the background after decanting it for 30 minutes. The fruits are very appealing, I keep having a sip to confirm the content. It’s easy to fall in love with Pomerol, and La Creation is a prime example, without the need to age it for decades to enjoy the content. I highly recommend drinkers to give it a shot to find out how much fun this Pomerol wine can bring you. (7/2022)
Wine Enthusiast - 93 Points
Unusually for Merlot-dominated Pomerol, this 13-acre vineyard is planted with 51% of the two Cabernets. The resulting wine is richly fruity and structured, with generous chocolate and black-coffee flavors as well as dark berry fruits.(1/2021)
