Mas del Périé is a property located in the Cahors AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée). In 2006, Fabien Jouves took over the family estate and immediately converted it to organic farming, obtaining the label in 2009. Fabien Jouves also works with biodynamic methods and advocates a natural and living wine, made from the fermentation of the grapes alone. The cuvée Mas Del Périé La Roque is rich and full-bodied, perfect for drinking now. It has some of the characteristics of Cahors, however Fabien Jouves has added his own personal touch. Raised in concrete vats and barrels for 6 months, this cuvée goes perfectly with rich meats such as magret de canard or lamb.
