Wine Enthusiast - 98 Points
From the flagship vineyard of an exceptionally terroir-focused producer, this spicy, smoky sip offers the seduction of French oak alongside piercing lemon, white peach and even pineapple flavors. Creamy and silk-tipped yet vital and translucent, it's everything you could ask of Grand Cru white Burgundy in such a ripe vintage. Irresistible young, the wine should continue to gain complexity through 2035. *Editors' Choice* (12/2021)
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy - 97 Points
roduction is 2 x new 500 litre barrels. Fine clear bright colour. Even more intensity than the Demoiselles, but in a stricter style. Serene on the palate with a very cheerful bit of barrel toast, which adds complexity and does not subtract from the fruit. (9/2020)
Allen Meadows Burghound - 94 Points
Moderate wood surrounds the very spicy nose that is composed by notes of citrus confit, poached pear and fresh fennel wisps. The dense broad-shouldered flavors possess an opulent and mouth coating mid-palate while flashing plenty of minerality on the very dry, hugely long and powerful finale. This will need to add depth to achieve the upper end of my projected range but at a minimum it should be very good. (6/2021)
