This Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Rue de Chaux by the Aegerter Family is a beautifully precise and elegant Pinot Noir, hand-harvested and crafted with a blend of tradition and innovation. After gentle pre-fermentation maceration and barrel vinification, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak (30% new), resulting in a deep cherry-red colour and a richly expressive nose of black berries, stone fruits, subtle forest floor and spice. On the palate, it delivers a refined balance of structure and finesse, with smooth, finely textured tannins supporting impressive depth and longevity. Grown on brown limestone soils, this Premier Cru has excellent ageing potential of 10 to 15 years and pairs superbly with classic Burgundian dishes, game, duck breast or premium cuts of beef.
