Santenay, located in the south of Beaune, is a relatively large region which boasts a 282 hectares of red wine production. Not a very popular wine region which is a blessing in disguise, making the prices very reasonable, and a great choice for burgundy drinkers. Bouquet was surprisingly good, with a sexy and silky characters that’s very seductive, made a good impression to start off with. Content deserves it’s premier cru status, very elegant though a tad simple, very drinkable and approachable. Love to drink it with casual food, leaves a good impression.
