The vines are located in the lieux-dits of "Pallière et Pied-Gu" and "Notre-Dame-des-Pallières," situated in the northern part of the Gigondas appellation. At "Pallière et Pied-Gu," the vineyards are planted on chalky-clay soils, with vines at higher altitudes rooted in calcareous loose rocks. Meanwhile, "Notre-Dame-des-Pallières" features sandy-loam soils on the lower slopes and transitions to calcareous soils higher up the hillside. This Gigondas red is already a delight, offering vibrant notes of red berries, garrigue, and spices, and also has the potential to age beautifully for 8 to 10 years.
