Wine by Bok - 9/10 stars
Despite being from a challenging vintage, Nicolas Champagneux has worked his magic. The bouquet is a sensory delight, with ripe blackberries, cherries, and a touch of black pepper. The palate is slightly more restrained, showing subtle hints of earth and herbs. Decanting is a must, as it reveals the wine's hidden complexity and finesse. While it may not reach the heights of the 2020 vintage, it’s a testament to Nicolas's skill that he has crafted a wine of such elegance and charm. A solid addition to any collection, offering a glimpse of brilliance even in a difficult year. (12/24)
