It’s hard to imagine a better encapsulation of this wonderful season in the Barossa. The aromas are a beguiling combination of spice, fruit cake, dark plum and prune with a liberal dollop of dark chocolate and a lick of licorice. Supremely balanced and poised with the chalky thread of tannin and the liberal use of oak lacing it together into a marvellous example of the Barossa at its best. (8/2024)
