2023 Chateau D’Esclans Whispering Angel Provence Rose - 750ml
With exquisite scents of sliced apple, pink grapefruit, peach, cream, and stones, it carries through to a medium body and crisp acidity. Grenache and Cinsault are two grape varieties.
Sacha Lichine, the previous owner of Chateau Prieuré-Lichine in Margaux, is now the proprietor of Chateau d’Esclans, a well-known property in Provence. There, Sacha Lichine produced a line of rosé wines that the national and international press regard as the most exclusive rosés in the world.
Provence is a physical region and historical province of southeastern France that runs from the left bank of the lower Rhône River on the west to the Italian border on the east and is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea on the south. Provence is known for its style of wine, particularly red wine and rose, thanks to a Mediterranean climate and great soil type for growing quality grape varietals.
