Burgundy has seven regional appellations, including Bourgogne Aligoté, which refers exclusively to wines made from the Aligoté grape. This historic variety, long overshadowed by Chardonnay, is regaining its noble reputation in the region. The vineyard parcel lies in “Pré des Longeroies” at 230 meters elevation, facing north-east on clay and silt soils, providing a cool and precise terroir. From vineyard to vinification, all practices are carefully adapted to each vintage to craft the finest wine while preserving the typicity of the terroir. Vinification is sulfite-free, and the wine is aged in oak barrels. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, dominated by citrus fruit, with good tension upfront and a round, harmonious finish.
