Vines face the east to south-east, receiving the morning sun at around 250 meters elevation. They grow on diverse limestone-based soils composed of rock fragments, marls, red silt, gravel, and small pebbles. The estate’s parcels are spread across several lieux-dits: Bas Cheneverys, Clos Solon, Très Girard, En Seuvrey, Les Porroux. The parcel of Clos Solon lies on deep, marl-rich soil, contributing fruit expression and finesse, while Bas Cheneverys, with soils abundant in tiny pebbles, brings structure and power, resulting in complementary profiles. In the Clos Solon, the domaine has introduced vegetative ground cover to retain coolness and moisture during heatwaves. Trials with natural organic spreadings, including cattle and sheep manure, are underway in Les Porroux. Vinification is carefully adjusted to each vintage to produce the finest wines while safeguarding the typicity of the terroir. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months. The wine displays a brilliant, limpid ruby-red colour. The nose is characteristic of the Côte de Nuits, offering aromas of cherries and raspberries with delicate hints of violet. On the palate, the balance between roundness, acidity, and tannins is exemplary. It is an elegant and generous Burgundy with expressive retro-nasal fruit, good length, and a full, satisfying finish.
