Wine With Bok - 8.5/10 Stars
This wine has a blend of 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano di Soave, coming from the greater region of Veneto. With only 12.5% alc, this wine is truly made for daily drinking. I get a lot of freshness on the bouquet, with a blend of apple, citrus, pears and predominantly freshly cut grass. Body has a good balance of freshness and acidity, very friendly and easy going. I want to add that, in a blind tasting, I think this wine will be confused with Sauvignon Blanc grape as the character of this Soave is very similar to the profile of some new world produced Sauvignon Blanc wines. Thus if you want to fool a wine connoisseur, this pairing with cool climate Sauvignon Blanc will certainly put the expert to great stress.
Winemaker Notes
Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose it has pleasant floral aromas as well as summer fruits ones, such as apricot and peach. On the palate its fine minerality gives it a cosy elegance which is very well balanced by its freshness.
