2021 Philippe Colin Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes - 750ml
Jasper Morris - 93 points
Chenevottes suffered a little less from the frost as the vines were less advanced. One new 500 litre barrel in three. A pale lime green colour, an attractive mix of white fruit and well chosen oak, then kicks on very nicely on the palate, the oak just adding a touch of cream on top of the fruit. A balanced, persistent finish.
Burghound - 93 points
A cool, pure and airy nose reflects notes of the essence of white orchard fruit, lemon-lime and subtle oak. There is again and really lovely texture to the vibrant and highly seductive middleweight flavors that also conclude in a clean, bone-dry and impressively long finale where a touch of bitter lemon character can be found. This is surprisingly powerful and a wine that should age gracefully.
