Piper-Heidsieck is one of the most renowned and historic Champagne houses, known for its bold, structured, and fruit-forward style. Founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck in Reims, the house quickly gained prestige, even winning favor with Queen Marie Antoinette. Over the centuries, it has continued to build a strong reputation, becoming a favorite of Hollywood stars and connoisseurs alike. Celebrated for their vibrant acidity, fresh fruit character, and well-balanced richness. The house relies on a high proportion of Pinot Noir, sourced mainly from the Montagne de Reims, to create its signature structure and intensity. Chief Winemaker Émilien Boutillat, who took the helm in 2018, continues the house’s tradition of crafting expressive, high-quality Champagnes while incorporating modern, sustainable practices.
