The NV Demi-Sec Exquise rounds out this tasting of new releases from the Selosse family. In this edition, what impresses me most about the Exquise is the degree to which the dosage is not at all evident. The wine is rich and ample, of course, but it is only moderately sweet, and that makes it extremely versatile at the end of a meal. Hints of tangerine oil, baked apple tart, honey and hazelnut linger softly.
