Wine With Bok - 9.5/10 Stars
This is the second wine of Chateau La Grangere and is made by 100% Merlot. Vineyards are located along and near the Troplong Mondot with the same exposure as the Château Pavie on the south facing slopes. Surprising bouquet of mineral, almost stainless steel in addition to graphite and carbon, this is my first whiff. I was very impressed with the content, as a sip of it right out of a pop of the cork revealed that there wasn’t any harsh tannins, very rounded and full bodied, very approachable, with great intensity and maturity.
