1949 La Conseillante Pomerol
I had a vertical tasting of 7 decades of La Conseillante tonight that it was so awesome all the attendees (7 pax) were speechless. The lineup was: 2005, 1998, 1989, 1970, 1966, 1964, 1955, 1949. Most are top Pomerol vintages except for 66 and 70 as we do not have a 61 to share. Nevertheless, it was a really good label to fall in love with. Testimony was that, I sold out all on 59, 59, 62, 66, 69, 70, 75.
