Talking about French wines that’s totally fine and rare is a totally different topic that can go on and on. This 64 year old bottle was so amazing, the label was like it was only printed last year. I pulled the cork myself, surprisingly it wasn’t charred, in fact the wordings were clearly visible. This was my first time seeing such a pristine condition bottle. Very soft and mellow, the fruits were a bit lacking but it more than made up by the totally integrated tannins and finesse.
