OLD WINE’S PROBLEM 老酒的问题
Unfortunately not all aged wines grew up similarly, you’ll need some luck to get a good bottle. I’ve tasted this bottle in the past, and it was superb. But this bottle was quite weak, somehow lacking flare. Nose of mushroom, smoke. Palate was light but missing flavor, classic, rustic, very matured. Such is an experience with aged bottles.
可惜的是同样一瓶老酒，但是味道却是千里之差。我以往品过这一款老酒，非常棒！但是今天这瓶酒有些泄气了，酒体有点弱，也没有什么新鲜感。扑鼻而来的是一阵浓厚的蘑菇味和烟熏味。内容清淡，没有什么酒体。但是可以感觉到酿酒的传统味道，很成熟。这就是老酒的经验，要喝到一瓶好的酒需要一点运气和好的来源。

It had a hint of everything – iron, spice, cedar, cinnamon, musk and purple fruits and flowers. Its aromas were so long in an elegant way, but its palate was rich and expansive.
I had a 61 night, the lineup Cos, Ch Margaux, Clinet, La Conseillante. Apart from Cos, a bit too acidic & felt unready, the other 3 were mind blowingly good. Clinet stood up against LC & Margaux. This is the best Margaux I ever had. LC is worth mentioning coz it's like a matured lady, very elegant, balanced & not an ounce of fat. Awesome night!
