1961 Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue Musigny Grand Cru Cuvee
END GAME
This was probably the end game for my hunt of the ultimate red burgundy.... I don't think I can find anything better than this Musigny 61 that was produced by Roumier the legend, as I have been drinking for two decades of red burgundy and nothing came close.
Really stunning palate, rich and mellow, but absolutely not overpowering. It caressed my palate so well with the best lovely sweetness I've ever come across in red burgundy, it contained infinite layers of depth. Thanks Perry for sharing!
