BORDEAUX 61 ROCKS....
The 61 Bordeaux vintage, no matter which bank you look at, or whatever appellation you pulled out, performed superbly without any disappointment. I haven't come across another vintage that was so uniformed (not the 82 please!)
On the nose, it possessed the St Emilion character of medicinal, beef stock, beefy and fruity character. Body was really forward, with rich and fruity characters, alongside with plums and prunes, evolved a bit into raisins thereafter.
