1961 Le Bon Pasteur Pomerol
The cork sank into the bottle upon the slightest touch by my corkscrew, not a good sign as I was expecting much uglier scenarios with this bottle. It didn't turn out too badly, nose was oxidized and maderized, but the palette was still ok, kinda simple merlot based wine with not much complexity, but very merlot driven. On my last few sips, it was an aged Petrus clone (reference Petrus 1952/53), exactly identical on nose and palette. I guess I should be quite trainer to pick up an aged Pomerol in the future.
