1966 Domaine Anne Gros Richebourg Grand Cru
THE GROS FAMILY
Perhaps the most confusing family winemaker in burgundy, Anne Gros took over father's job Francois Gros in 1988, renamed it as Domaine Anne et Francois Gros and finally Domaine Anne Gros. The rest, Domaine Gros Frère et Souer, Domaine Michel Gros and Domaine AF Gros, were cousins and not to be confused.
This was the oldest Gros Richebourg I've ever had. Despite the aged funky nose, content was still alive although a bit rundown with sharp and light acidity, probably due to provenance.
