1967 Paul Jaboulet Aine Hermitage La Chapelle
KING OF HERMITAGE
I had so many vintages of Jaboulet La Chapelle Hermitage, I dare to say this label in the 60s was simply the champion, totally unbeatable, perhaps primarily there's no other famous producer or rival at that era.
Served blind, the nose was very floral, very burgundy like that almost fooled me, a totally seductive nose!
Palate was lovely and pleasant, the kind of lovely sweetness you find in your daughter's bedroom. Unbelievable the wine was still with slight tannins. Amazing wine!
