1967 Vertical Tasting of Lafite Rothschild Pauillac
1500TH POST
I thought I'd post something interesting for my 1500th post in Vivino on a New Year Day. This tasting was done in 2012, way before Vivino existed. I found this photo buried deep in my bucket of wine photos.
The vintage line up were: 67, 83, 86, 89, 90, 96, 98. Lafite Rothschild was titled Queen of Bordeaux, and there're only three words to describe it: Elegance, Elegance and Elegance.
In this line up, the best vintage was 1996, blessed with a balanced power and elegance. I'm truly blessed.
