My third bottle of Ch Latour 1970 these few months. Except for the first bottle that I suspect provenance issue, the 2nd and 3rd bottle was exceptional! This bottle had some green capsicum and smoke on the nose. Palate was lush, great fruits., stunning! So easy to drink, so fresh!
这是我这两个月以来第三瓶拉图70。 除了第一瓶我怀疑它的来源不好，其他两瓶都非常超棒！ 这瓶有点青椒味和烟熏味的鼻蕾。内容非常丰富，果味非常特别，非常高贵圆滑，而且非常新鲜，太棒了！好酒就是非常容易喝！我认为拉图是70年份最棒的波尔多酒！

BAD PROVENANCE 不好的来源
I had drank many bottles of Latour 70, in recent memory, I once had it mixed up and thought it was a 01 vintage (amongst 12 blind bottles). This bottle was definitely poor showing; definitive Latour nose, a bit dirty. Content was quite weak, with obvious sediments (didn’t stand up properly). It couldn’t last the next 30 min. Definitely poor provenance.
我有生以来喝过了很多瓶的拉图70，而且在一个盲品会上，搞混了1970和2001，足以说明拉图牛的时候是多么的不容易衰老。可惜这瓶却完全没有耐力，倒入杯里的都是混浊的酒（瓶子肯定颠倒了无数次），入口老态龙钟的感觉，连30分钟都不能持续。非常差的来源，所以需要注意来源！

Had a vertical Latour tasting. Tidying my notes here. Here is the vintage & consensus ranking in ascending order: 83 (last), 96, 66, 95, 57, 70, 90, 01, 89 (first). 9 attendees voted for these 9 btls, so it's a fair judgment. The nose was very faint & light, palette was a bit creamy & vegetal. Still has a long life ahead!
