1970 Vieux Chateau Certan Pomerol
I had this from a magnum. Nose is slightly vegetal and green initially, but quickly overwhelmed by the fruits when air comes into equation. The palette too, requires some oxygen to make the wine more pleasant, slight tinge of coffee, very pleasant fruits and very matured, mellow with all melted tannins. 4.5 star is because the fruits are a bit weak, but by no means compromising the drinking pleasure.
