1975 Chateau Nenin Pomerol
TOP VINTAGE
As I've said many times, for any Pomerol 1975, just buy as it was a superb vintage. In my memory I never once had a bad Pomerol from 75 before.
This was probably one of the better Nenin amongst the 60s and 70s (I have not tasted the 61). Nose of tossed copper coin, rusty irons and good matured fruits. Body was slightly diluted initially, but given some air in the decanter, the wine opened up, fruity, rich and broad. Quite pleasurable especially when the fruits melted on the tongue. Grab!
