Both 70s vintages in this vertical tasting have been nothing but spectacular. From the start, you can already tell it has stronger and riper fruits than the 80. Loads of plum, sweet smelling black fruits, smoky vanilla and spice. Palate had lighter juicy fruits, great balance of acidity and firm tannins. Would have thought this wine to be younger than it is!

Sensational, Pleasurable!
Revealing some fantastic potential! Deep, mature with loads of great ripe fruit flavour! Intense palate of dried red fruits, raspberries, oak and sweet nose of spice, cassi, chocolate. Full, rich and tannic finishing. The tannic gradually goes off and comes a new level of complexity and depth, very intriguing of this wine! Polished, firm and weighty wine but are very well balanced! This 75s bottle is one of the best Mouton of the 70s decade! Must try!
