1978 Clos Rene Pomerol
The wines of Chateau Clos Rene are rich and complex with notes of coffee, caramel, smoke, violets and black currants. The wines have firm, silky tannins and are well balanced.
Nose is a bit green. Palette a bit light, but extremely pleasant & elegant. Rare to find Pomerol so elegant & easy drinking.
