1979 Chateau Palmer Margaux
This is the 3rd & last glass in the blind tasting game. Very very faint fragrant, some charred and burnt wood, raw and green on the nose. Palette was weak, lean and very poor. I am not keen to drink any further. Based on my observation, I am pretty sure it was old world, and I even thought it was Saint Julien. When I learned that it was a Palmer 79, I could not believe it. It was probably the worst Palmer I hv ever had, comparable to 84. Totally disappointed with this lousy bottle.
